Lunchbox multiprocessor
Most of my Intel hardware is between 3 and 6 years old. I keep saying that someday I'll replace one, but I haven't quite done it yet. But this Small Form Factor dual Opteron box from IWill has got my attention.

The thought occurred to me though, that I have not upgraded my hardware for a while either. Perhaps this is a trend? I did build myself a box a few months ag...

Err... At $499 for the barebones box that means you could build a kicking machine for less than $1800 total! As Opteron prices come down (Moore's law marches on) it will probably be sub $1000 by next year.
