Operator error
Joshua Allen generously attributes flaws in my photograph of him to my camera. The more likely explanation is that the flaws are due to operator/photographer error. I was seated, he was standing, I was focusing on getting a picture of Megan, and I was probably a bit to far for the feeble flash in my PowerShot S10... Next time maybe I'll bust out Photoshop -- but then you'd find out what operator error in Photoshop looks like!
