Ted Leung on the air: Open Source, Java, Python, and ...
I've written before about "open source" journals and wished for some in Computer Science. Logical Methods in Computer Science is such a journal for the theoretical aspects of programming languages. The journal hasn't quite launched yet (September 2004 is the date given for the disabled functions). Still, this is very encouraging, and I hope that this will be very successful. The link to "The Landscape of Open Access Publishing" also lists the Journal of Aritifical Intelligence Research (JAIR) as a successful open access journal which has attained credibility in its area.
