Ted Leung on the air: Open Source, Java, Python, and ...
I know that some people will accuse Apple of trying to kill howl, especially in the wake of the Dashboard/Konfabulator controversy. howl has been available for some time, and it's open source. As far as I can tell, the uptake is not that large. At this point, broadening the use of Rendezvous on platforms besides the Mac is an important goal, and the more players the better.

stop mentioning the
"Dashboard/Konfabulator controversy"
it's over.
just forget about it.
OK?

and

and 1,000 other sites that by now already know that
THERE IS NO "Dashboard/Konfabulator controversy"
dig it?
thank you.

This is the first time I've mentioned the issue. Perhaps you have me confused with one of the other people writing about this.

These are fine -- I used pyzeroconf at the NW Sprint.
However, in my mind this is about adoption of zeroconf on a much larger scale than today. Which means it has to be more than python. I'm sure that some enterprising person will SWIG/Pyrex the Apple libs.
