Thanks Ted, great list! I looked at it thinking that I might be able to contribute something but no luck, you already have everything that I know of ;-)
Just one question: I don't seem to have the "say" command on my macosx Jaguar 10.2.8, is that a Panther thing or something that must be installed?

Bertrand,
I think that say is Panther thing, since it's in /usr/bin and has a man page in /usr/man and I don't ever mess with /usr, except for /usr/local

On other versions of OS X, you can do it through AppleScript:
osascript -e 'say "stuff"'

Great resource, yet I have one suggestion for us lazy types. I checked out your original version and feel that it would be useful to put some sort of marker to indicate which items are new. Maybe a "New - Added 2004/02/08" snippet next to the title of new items or perhaps just the added date. This would help save time and enable me to scan through the article only looking at what I haven't seen yet.
Thanks for putting this together and updating it as you've found new and useful tips/tools.

Good stuff. I hadn't heard of iPulse or xCHM. iPulse is just plain super cool. I need xCHM and am about to go install that. Thanks!
