Frys in Washington State
One of the few things that I miss from Silicon Valley is Fry's Electronics. Not that I bought a lot there, but I used to go wandering through just to see what was around and so forth. So I was happy to learn that Fry's will be opening a store in Renton, WA. It won't be the same as having one right behind us (We used to live 3 minutes from the Fry's in Campbell), but it's still way closer than anything else.

I long to visit Frys...but alas am stuck in Scotland (PC World just isn't the same). Is this the same store that was made infamous in Microserfs (excellent book...). Incidnetally, Ted, have you read this post: http://weblogs.asp.net/KDente/posts/8437.aspx I have to agree with him, it's a major reason I don't use WMP, Winamps' shuffle is far more random, I usually get a very limited subset of my music in a WMP shuffle (less that 3 hours at a guess out of >100 hours of actual tunes).
